Stand Down 2019
Stand Down is an amazing event!! Unfortunately this year the registration deadline for volunteers was moved up to an earlier date. If you are interested and missed it...
It is always in June and you must register to volunteer 2 weeks in advance. So mark your calendar now for early May, just in case. It was a wonderful and rewarding event, as always!
North County Humane Society Dog Walk Feb 23, 2019
It is always so fun working with the animals!! We worked on people too, but the animals get that glazed and happy look that humans often hide. It is so delightfully rewarding!!

This event was not huge, but the rewards were. We met new and wonderful Reiki Practitioners (who hopefully will become members) and introduced Reiki for the first time to many others.

Stand Down is one of the most rewarding events that SDRC participates in!! The vets are always tremendously appreciative. And so are the volunteers.

SDRC RECEIVES DONATION FROM CLUB!
Again in 2018, the Helix Water District Employee Contribution Club made a generous donation to San Diego Reiki Corps. Our
member, Marlene Joy is an employee of HWD and shared the work that SDRC does in the community with her associates. It is through donations like this that our
work continues. The monies will be used for on-going community projects for the military, homeless, and cancer walks.
